A Promenade of Shorts Season 2: A Mini Festival of Tiny Plays

Presented by Red Phoenix Theatres and Holden Street Theatres

Join us for a mini-festival of 10 minute plays, ranging from murder to hilarious mayhem. At each performance three separate audiences will promenade between the three key Holden Street venues. During the two intervals there will be an outside bar and entertainment.

Experience nine individual plays by distinguished playwrights, being performed by 27 actors. Sit with Brian as he awaits his audition for Britain’s Got Talent, stand outside the Whitehouse as women campaign for the vote, will Captain Rockets defeat the Intergalactic Brain-Eaters, watch the interrogation of a killer, experience the crazy sci-fi future of advertising (Black Mirror style), discover the untapped potential of the dreaded corporate breakout meetings, decide whether this is the wedding from hell or a bit of a laugh, cringe as a woman attempts to come out to her male boss, and experience the dilemmas of teaching 7 year olds (‘George don’t do that!’).
